Helzer Ministry

 

Patti Helzer's Paraclete ministry is conducted under the banner of Mourning to Morning Ministries, founded in 2004. It is a gospel ministry of justice based Isaiah 61:1-3. It is sharing the love and compassion of Jesus in bold and tangible ways! Her greatest passion is for those who have experienced abuse, loss and devastation in their life to know that 'pain' is not their forever and that they can experience and walk in true freedom and live victoriously! 
 
This is a ministry of deep healing, where God redeems, restores and renews. As God works, we can move from victim to victorious through Christ.
 
The Lord's call and direction for Patti's ministry is: 
 
  • To call forth victims of violence. To share with them about God's love and to convey to them that they have a hope and a future and a sure calling.
  • To call them out of the shadows and to live, to take their stand and to be victorious men and women of faith.
  • To serve so that, through Christ, people can come from a place of pain to the dawn of a new day!
  • To accomplish these things through personal prayer and counseling; mentoring; speaking; teaching and coming alongside of leaders.

 

Patti was ordained as a Minister of the Gospel in 2004 and received an Honorary Doctorate of Humanities from Kayiwa International University of Uganda in September 2013. She has had opportunities to minister in the Middle East, Romania, Canada, Kenya and Ethiopia as well as in the States. And she has discovered that no matter the place, the stories are similar and the need to know the truth of who they are, to experience the love of Christ, and the desire for freedom are the same.

Paraclete associates raise funds to cover the cost of their ministry. Most associates are supported workers, which means that they also raise funds for a salary that is controlled by the Paraclete Board of Directors.

Paraclete separately accounts for donations preferenced for a specific ministry. The organization uses ten percent of all preferenced donations to cover shared expenses.
