Vartuli Ministry

The following are some thoughts about what I envision my ministry work to look like with Paraclete Mission Group. I want to offer myself in three distinct ways. These three ways are aligned with the gifts given to me by the Lord. I have been offering myself in these three ways for the last 30 years.
I have always sought to teach Christians about what it means to mature in Christ. So, the emphasis of my teaching has always been on sanctification.
During that past 15 years, the focus of my teaching has been on Trinitarian Theology, or Relational Theology, or Spiritual Theology. These are different terms which speak about the same thing. It is the kind of teaching that is meant to help us ponder the implications of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in our everyday lives. It is meant to help us gain supernatural discernment in facing our internal battle each and every day. This battle is shaped personally and therefore looks different for each of us. Yet, the battle can be fought. We can wrestle well. The life of God can pour forth from our depths in simple, profound, and quiet ways.
Spiritual Direction:
I have also sought to offer myself in one-on-one conversations, guiding people on their journeys with God, discovering with them, asking biblically-informed questions that offer people the space to travel down into their own hearts as the Holy Spirit leads. I am unusually gifted in this area and for 30 years have labored to offer myself in this way. I hope to be freed up to do more of this for those who are interested. I have also sought to simply be present with people. The power of presence has deepened in my life as I have learned to draw near to God during very difficult times.
I have been told by many that I am a good writer. I have experienced firsthand how my writing has made a difference in the lives of others. I write on a monthly basis through an email missive which I have sent out for the past 7 years to close friends. I have also started a blog so my words can be offered on a wider scale. I have one book published and have another manuscript written as well. I don’t know where the Holy Spirit will lead with the manuscript but I do know I want to keep writing about the spiritual journey. I feel deeply compelled to do so.
I would love to run a retreat center which would allow time to offer myself in these three ways. It is a dream of mine. Yet, I hold my hands open before the Lord yielding my dream before him as I quietly recite the words he taught us to pray, “Nevertheless Lord, your will be done”.

Paraclete associates raise funds to cover the cost of their ministry. Most associates are supported workers, which means that they also raise funds for a salary that is controlled by the Paraclete Board of Directors.

Paraclete separately accounts for donations preferenced for a specific ministry. The organization uses ten percent of all preferenced donations to cover shared expenses.
