The CPTC Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing assistance to Clover Park Technical College and its students, staff, and faculty. The Foundation primarily focuses on fundraising in order to assist with funds for:

Area of Greatest Need

Our Emerging Needs fund supports the area of greatest need: This fund supports all areas, including scholarships, emergency assistance for students, program, staff and faculty support. If you wish to make the greatest impact, donate to our Emerging Needs fund.

Scholarships enable students to focus on their education by lessening their financial burden. Both general and named scholarships are available. Named scholarships have been established by and in support of specific programs or types of students. For more information on establishing a named scholarship, please contact the foundation office.

Emergency Assistance

Our emergency assistance program provides financial support for student emergency needs, including rent, utilities, medical, and transportation expenses through a program called Simon's Fund. Emergency assistance funding also supports the student food pantry, and basica needs for children of students (such as diapers, wipes, clothes, etc.) coordinated through the Hayes Child Development Center through the Emerging Butterflies program.

Emergency Assistance Endowment Campaign

The Foundation is kicking off a three year campaign designed to help provide sustainable support for Emergency Assistance to students. The Emergency Assistance program is currently funded by direct donors, as well as an endowment (a large sum of money that was given to the Foundation to invest, and the interest from that investment is used annually to support the program). The three year campaign will focus on doubling the funds in the endowment, so that the interest earned can meet the needs of the program without having to continually fundraise from individual donors every year. The goal of the campaign is to raise $75,000 by the Fall of 2020 in order to double the Emergency Assistance endowment.

Holiday House

These funds assist student families with holiday meals & gifts for their children during the holiday season. This past year, more than 100 familes, 204 children, were provided assistance during the holidays.
